Southsea Laser Clinic – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 21st January 2026
By booking or attending a treatment at Southsea Laser Clinic, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Bookings & Consultations
All new clients must submit a consultation request via our booking page, including name, email, and phone number.
Once we have received your enquiry and spoken with you on the phone, we will email a private booking link for your consultation.
A consultation form will be emailed within 48 hours of booking. You must return this form before your consultation can be confirmed, as it allows us to assess suitability and determine whether GP consent is required.
Existing clients may reschedule appointments via Phorest, phone, or email if more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
2. Deposits & Patch Tests
All new clients book a consultation and patch test with a £45 deposit.
If either party decides not to proceed with a physical patch test, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Once a patch test is performed, the deposit is non-refundable.
The deposit will be deducted from your first treatment, after which normal pay-as-you-go pricing applies.
No-shows for consultations or patch tests result in the deposit being retained.
3. Treatment Suitability & Consent
Clients must read and sign the clinic’s Consent Form prior to treatment, which details risks, potential side effects, and the treatment process.
Clients confirm that they have provided accurate medical history and will inform the clinic of any changes in health or medications before each appointment.
Laser treatments are for cosmetic hair reduction and do not cure underlying medical conditions. Results vary by individual.
4. Pre- & Post-Treatment Requirements
Clients must follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions. Failure to do so may result in treatment being postponed or refused.
Clients acknowledge that non-compliance with recommended treatment schedules may affect results and may require a repeat patch test if the treatment window exceeds 6 months.
A copy of pre- and post-care instructions will be emailed 48 hours before and immediately after appointments.
5. Adverse Reactions
Any adverse reaction or unexpected side effect must be reported to the clinic immediately via email at admin@southsealaserclinic.co.uk.
6. Pricing & Packages
All clients acknowledge that they have read the clinic’s price list and understand that all treatments are individually priced.
The clinic operates on a pay-as-you-go system. Payments are per treatment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Each treatment area is priced individually. If multiple areas are treated in one session, each area will be charged separately.
Pricing may vary between new and existing clients. All new clients will be charged according to the current price list on our website, and an accurate quote will be provided during the consultation appointment.
We are no longer offering full body or combined packages to new clients. Any existing clients who purchased such packages prior to this change will continue to have their treatment honoured under their original agreement.
If you have been referred by a friend or family member, please note that pricing is based on your own status as a new or existing client, and cannot be applied based on someone else’s pricing.
Pay-as-you-go prices may change due to price increases or other factors. We will always aim to give a minimum of 12 weeks’ notice of any price changes.
Any upfront package payments are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of purchase, after which they expire.
The £45 consultation/patch test deposit will be deducted from the cost of the first treatment, after which all treatments will be charged at the standard pay-as-you-go price.
For optimal results, we recommend a minimum of 6–12 treatments. Yearly maintenance top-ups may also be necessary.
7. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.
Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may incur a £30 cancellation fee before a new appointment can be booked.
The clinic will notify clients as soon as possible if appointments are cancelled due to staff sickness or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Treatment Expectations
Laser hair removal typically requires 6–12 treatments, spaced 6–12 weeks apart, depending on hair type, skin tone, and hormonal balance.
Results vary by individual. While significant hair reduction is expected, 100% permanent removal cannot be guaranteed.
Clients must shave the treatment area before appointments and avoid waxing, plucking, threading, or epilating during the course of treatment.
9. Health & Safety
All staff are Level 4 qualified in laser treatments and trained to meet current government regulations.
Treatments are carried out in accordance with approved health and safety standards, and we use Peninsula to maintain compliance.
Protective eyewear will be provided during laser treatments, and clients must wear them at all times.
10. Parking
Parking in numbered bays outside the clinic is private and at your own risk.
Free 1-hour on-street parking is available along Marmion Road.
Clients may use Waitrose car park (up to 3 hours free), subject to Waitrose T&Cs. Clients should check signage before parking.
11. Photography & Records
Photographs may be taken for professional records, insurance, or marketing purposes with client consent.
Clients may opt out of marketing usage while records are retained for clinical purposes.
12. Liability
The clinic and its staff are not liable for adverse effects arising from failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions.
The clinic cannot guarantee treatment results and is not financially responsible for dissatisfaction.
13. Privacy & Data
We process and store personal and medical information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Treatment records will be retained for 7 years for clinical and legal purposes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be addressed in accordance with English law.
