Southsea Laser Clinic – Service Agreement

Effective Date: 21st January 2026

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Southsea Laser Clinic (“Clinic”) and the client (“Client”) named below. By signing this Agreement and attending treatments, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

  • The Clinic will provide laser hair removal treatments using the Candela GentleMax Pro system.

  • Treatments are for cosmetic hair reduction purposes only. The Clinic does not guarantee permanent hair removal or cure of any medical conditions.

  • The Client understands that multiple sessions (typically 6–12 treatments) are required for optimal results, spaced 6–12 weeks apart depending on hair type, skin tone, and hormonal balance.

2. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  1. Provide accurate medical history and notify the Clinic of any changes before each appointment.

  2. Complete and return all consultation and safety forms emailed 48 hours prior to appointments.

  3. Follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions, including shaving, avoiding waxing/plucking, and sun protection.

  4. Notify the Clinic immediately of any adverse reaction following treatment.

  5. Attend appointments on time and within recommended treatment schedules. Failure to do so may require a repeat patch test and may affect results.

3. Deposits, Payments & Packages

  • £45 deposit is required for consultations and patch tests.

  • Once the patch test is performed, the deposit is non-refundable but deducted from the first treatment.

  • Treatments are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis per treatment area.

  • Any future upfront packages will expire after 12 months if unused and are non-refundable once paid.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.

  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may incur a £30 cancellation fee before a new appointment can be booked.

  • Clients may reschedule via Phorest, phone, or email if more than 48 hours before the appointment.

  • The Clinic reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to staff sickness or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Treatment Risks & Limitations

  • The Client acknowledges that risks and side effects include, but are not limited to: redness, swelling, bruising, burns, pigmentation changes, scarring, folliculitis, allergic reactions, and paradoxical hair growth.

  • The Clinic will take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

  • Protective eyewear will be provided and must be worn during treatments.

  • The Client understands that treatments will not proceed without signed consent forms.

6. Scheduling & Compliance

  • Treatments must be performed within recommended timeframes for best results.

  • If the Client does not return within 6 months, a new patch test may be required before resuming treatment.

  • Annual or occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended to maintain results.

7. Privacy & Records

  • The Clinic stores client information and treatment records using Phorest, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Records will be retained for 7 years for clinical and legal purposes.

  • Photographs may be taken for treatment records or educational purposes with client consent.

8. Parking

  • Parking in numbered bays outside the clinic is private and at the Client’s own risk.

  • Free 1-hour on-street parking is available along Marmion Road.

  • Clients may use Waitrose car park (up to 3 hours free), subject to Waitrose T&Cs.

9. Health & Safety

  • All staff are Level 4 qualified in laser treatments and comply with government regulations.

  • Treatments follow approved health and safety procedures, maintained via Peninsula.

10. Client Acknowledgements

By making payment, the Client confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood the Consent Form.

  • Understand the nature, benefits, risks, and limitations of laser hair removal.

  • Agree to comply with all pre- and post-treatment instructions.

  • Acknowledge that results may vary and that no guarantees are made.

  • Consent to the Clinic retaining treatment records for 7 years.
